Biography

RICHARD E. BEASLEY

Born February 1, 1934, Gooding, Idaho. Died July 17, 1992. Married Virginia June Wetherell, 1963. Sons, Eric R. Beasley, born 1966, and Geoffrey Mark Beasley, born 1969.

Education

Idaho Public Schools; College of Idaho, Caldwell, Idaho; Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, Rhode Island/bachelor of fine Arts degree in advertising design; Claremont Graduate School, Claremont California/Master of Fine Arts degree in painting and printmaking.

Teaching

California Polytechnic, Pomona, California; Webb School of california, Claremont, California; Pomona Catholic Boys high School, La Verne, California; New York University, New York, New York. Held positions from instructor to professor at Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, 1968-92. Interim Director, School of Art and design, NAU, 1997-89; Assistant Dean, College of Creative and Communication Arts, NAU, 1989-92.
